Dwight Schrute would be proud

This week I have decided to start catching up on things I have missed out on for a while. For the past 3 years my Sci-Fi friends have been relentlessly beating me up for not ever watching Battlestar Galactica.

Battlestar Galactica (BSG) started way back in 2003 and ran until 2009 as a T.V. series. It chronicles a war that takes place between humans, and Cylons which are cybernetic organizms humans created to help explore the galaxy.

The show starts with the Cylons pulling off an epic sneak attack, which basically leaves humanity running for its life, and the only capital warship left to defent the humans is… (wait for it) the Battlestar Galactica. Adding to the plot is the fact that not only do Cylons have this gigantic army, but they have managed to disguise themselves to look exactly human sowing the seeds of deciet and paranoia among the survivors.

As of today I’m only about 5 episodes into Season 1 and so far it’s pretty good. My main complaint, and this may just be season 1, but each episode is LOOOONNNGGG and sometimes I find my attention wandering because so much happens in each episode. Anyway, BSG is worth a watch if you’re into Sci-Fi and are looking for something pretty good.
